FAQ

Every child is different and some will be ready to learn before others. I started to take piano lessons when I was six years old. It is important that parents are able to support their child between piano lessons, particularly during the early stages of their music tuition.

At what age can a child start to learn the piano?

You may not want to commit to the expense of a piano during the early stages of your piano tuition. A cheaper alternative may be a good 'touch sensitive keyboard'.

Do I need to have a piano?

The important thing is to practise regularly and try to make it part of your daily routine. Practise sessions do not have to last a long time when you first start to learn - a little and often can be more beneficial.

How much practise will I have to do?

Definitely not. Learning to play the piano at any age can be challenging but also a satisfying and rewarding experience. All that is required is enthusiasm and patience. Your piano lessons will be tailored individually to you.
